AFFIX bush system
|
Voici le communiqué de presse de KHE concernant leur nouveau produit en test.
Il s'agit de cuvettes de boitier de pédalier en alu avec roulement inclus.
Réalisé par AFFIX, les roulements sont issus d'une nouvelle technologie (appelé Iglidur) qui promettent plusieurs avantages (plus light, plus compact, moins de friction, plus résistant,...). Une cuvette avec roulement inclus ne pèsent que 36gr !
Le AFFIX bush system sera réalisé pour les boitiers Mid, Spanish et Euro.

At the moment we are testing a new kind of BB-cup which features the "patent pending" AFFIX® bush system and the proven quality of igus® bush bearings.
These bush bearings, named iglidur® are principally used in the industry, primarily on permanently running applications at high temperatures. Each of them sustain more than 3 tons.
Their advantages are obvious:
- They are unbelievable compact and weigh next to nothing
- Highest wear resistance
- lowest friction
- Excellent resistance against extreme conditions like high temperature, humidity, chemicals
- Maintenance-free
- Lubricant-free
- Corrosion resistance
- Extremely insensitive to dirt
- High accuracy grade
The AFFIX® bush system features strong alloy cups to get the most resistant end-product.
One alloy cup including the iglidur® bush bearing weighs only 36g/ 0.079lbs.
For example: Compared to a regular MidBB (including spacers), the AFFIX bush system saves 120g/ 0.265lbs, while it´s more durable and maintanance-effortless.
We plan to offer the AFFIX® bush system for Mid BB, Spanish BB & Euro BB.
